Moto’s Z line of devices is defined by its support for Moto mods, Lenovo’s answer to the modular smartphone craze. And the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, which is the company’s only flagship of the year, offers full support for the whole line of accessories, which take the form of snappable backs. Just like last year’s Z Force, it features a ShatterShield display, which Moto guarantees won’t shatter no matter what. Powering the Z2 Force Edition is Qualcomm’s current best-in-line chip, with either 4 or 6 GB of RAM in tow. This is also the first Moto handset to feature a dual camera, with two 12 MP sensors — one monochrome and one color. And despite carrying the Force branding, the phone does not feature its predecessor’s large battery capacity, which has instead been reduced to just 2,730 mAh.
